Statement

Among my chief interests are the interchangeability of meaning and the materiality of language.  These traits of the thinking, speaking world can at times provide me with a beauty I cannot help but revel in.  It is something caused by chance, something precious, something I want to hold on to, but at the same time it just isn't made for possession.  It just isn't mine.  The work is both an attempt to show this beauty and a way of coping with its loss.
